About the Role

This is a Band 6 Occupational Therapist role based at Alfred Bean Hospital in Driffield. As part of our Adult Community Learning Disabilities Team, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team providing assessments and treatments to adults with learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions to adults with learning disabilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to the planning, development, and evaluation of Occupational Therapy Services within the Trust
  • Supervise junior staff members to ensure they receive the necessary support and guidance

The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults with learning disabilities and will possess specialist knowledge of relevant clinical practice, standards, and protocols. A full understanding of policy, legislation, and guidance relevant to clinical and service areas is essential.

With a strong focus on patient-centered care, you will work collaboratively with other professionals to deliver integrated services across Hull, East, and North Yorkshire. Your expertise in Positive Behavioural Support techniques will be highly valued in this role.

The salary for this role is £39,324-£49,313 per annum, depending on experience.
