**Job Title:** Applications Support Team Lead Position

We are seeking an experienced Applications Support Lead to lead our Desktop and Applications support team in achieving Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Team Supervision: Oversee the daily activities of the team, manage workload, and resolve day-to-day problems.
  • Performance Management: Set and monitor team KPIs and individual objectives, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Talent Development: Conduct regular meetings to understand and develop team capacity, improve operations, and deploy resources for global support cover.
  • Crisis Communication: Communicate outage/emergency activities effectively, providing data for KPI reporting.
  • Mentorship: Mentor employees, enhance IT service awareness, and work with the Technology team to improve internal infrastructure.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Technical Expertise: Comprehensive technical skills across the Service Desk, including Microsoft Desktop Support, Applications Support, Systems administration, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Leadership Experience: Strong leadership experience as a senior analyst or team leader, with excellent communication skills and experience working with external and internal clients.
  • IT Service Improvement: Proven experience of improving an IT service function, with a focus on delivering high-quality results within deadlines.

**Estimated Salary:** £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
