Application Support Developer

Location: Leeds, UK

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Developer to join our team at the University of Leeds. As part of our Digital Transformation initiative, you will play a critical role in providing support for a diverse range of existing services and applications, including incident management.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in scripting languages, ideally PHP, Python, or Perl, with experience in LAMP stack development. Familiarity with digital asset management and digital scholarship is also an advantage. You will work collaboratively with Library and IT colleagues to design and implement new tools or integrate existing tools with new technologies to enhance the resource discovery experience.

This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues and develop effective solutions. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
