Job Summary
Leonard Cheshire is currently seeking a highly skilled Care Team Leader to join their team.
About the Role
As a Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing effective supervision of a team of Support Workers, leading with passion and enthusiasm to promote positive outcomes for disabled people with a flexible and proactive approach.
You will ensure our customers receive the very best care, personal support and assistance with daily life tasks, supporting our Person Centred approach, ensuring maximum independence for our customers and helping them to achieve individual aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring our customers receive the very best care and support
Providing effective supervision of a team of Support Workers
Leading with passion and enthusiasm to promote positive outcomes for disabled people
Supporting our Person Centred approach, ensuring maximum independence for our customers
Requirements
Ideally have a level of professional development and registration (NVQ/SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, L4 NVQ/SVQ) or willing to work towards a relevant qualification
Have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
Have experience in supervising a team
Work flexibly and creatively with customers and their families
Be experienced in working within a care setting
Flexibility to work within rostered hours / prepared to participate in an on-call rota where required
