About the Role

We are seeking a Female Deputy Service Manager to join our team at SeeAbility, a leading disability charity with over 225 years of experience. As a Deputy Service Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that everyone receives high-quality support, from the people we support to the team members who work alongside them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Service Manager in ensuring the delivery of high-quality support plans and risk assessments.
  • Manage rotas, supervise staff, train new team members, and lead the team to achieve excellent outcomes.
  • Work in partnership with the people we support, their families, and external agencies to champion person-centred planning and partnership working.
  • Plan and implement professionally designed support plans that genuinely improve the quality of everyday life.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and creative solutions to complex challenges.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and daily tasks.
  • Building relationships with the people we support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms.
  • Empowering independence by assisting with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations.
  • Supporting activities like holidays, social events, and hobbies to ensure everyone can enjoy what they love doing.
  • Ensuring that the individuals and their families are treated with respect, dignity, and equality.
