Danfoss is seeking an experienced Applications Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing application support and sparring partner for customers, sales teams, and technical support teams in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as application support and sparring partner for customers, our sales teams, and the technical support teams in the region
  • Support visits to customers for projects and troubleshooting, including support during commissioning/service
  • Assist in ensuring Danfoss products are being properly handled and installed onsite
  • System design support for contractors and consultants
  • Stay updated regarding relevant market trends and gather market and competitor intelligence
  • Deliver product and application training to groups of customers, our sales or technical support people either online or face-to-face
  • Provide insights, input, and market knowledge to new product developments, launches, and sales support material

Background and Skills:

  • A bachelor's degree or qualification in refrigeration or a related industry would be an advantage
  • Detailed experience within the Industrial Refrigeration industry or similar, including domestic or commercial heating/cooling applications, or demonstrating an advanced hands-on level of competence on complex refrigeration or air-conditioning systems
  • A solid understanding of industrial refrigeration systems, including how to work with Ammonia and CO2 applications
  • Commercial understanding and flair
  • Capable of managing own time and to work to tight customer deadlines
  • Fluency in English
