We are thrilled to be working with one of the most well-known sporting brands in the Lothian region in the recruitment of a part-time Human Resources Advisor. This role will be based in the company's head office on the outskirts of Edinburgh on a hybrid basis and will involve a small amount of traveling to various locations across the east of the central belt.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an HR advisor/subject matter expert to a number of divisions within the organisation, providing employee relations advice, sickness and attendance support, and grievance procedures.
  • Support internal stakeholders in relation to recruitment, recruitment best practice, and the onboarding/inducting of new staff.
  • Ensure that internal HR policies and procedures are effectively and efficiently communicated to stakeholder groups.
  • Administer employee data in the HR information system, reflecting contractual changes such as pay rises and notice periods.
  • Proactively ensure compliance with procedures and support line managers in disciplinary, termination, and other ER-based activities.


Requirements:

  • CIPD qualified or CIPD part-qualified.
  • Experience working with colleagues and managers throughout the organisation and building strong working relationships.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal form.
  • Excellent organisational competencies.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle.


The successful applicant will be based in the office on a blended working model, with 60% time spent in the office and 40% working from home. However, this may change, and the applicant may be expected to work more often in the office.
