Job Overview

We are supporting a major client based in Wrexham with an HR Administrator to cover maternity leave.

The successful candidate will provide a proactive, confidential administrative and support service to the company's 2 sites, covering all departments with HR issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data entry of starters, leavers, processing and payroll changes.
  2. Process overtime for staff and input all hours to meet payroll deadlines.
  3. Arrange appointments for Occupational Health referrals and Health Surveillance for both sites, sending letters, confirming appointments, and keeping an update of all staff health surveillance.
  4. Support the new starter onboarding process, ensuring employees' references and qualification certificates are checked thoroughly.
  5. Produce letters of employment, changes to terms and conditions, internal transfers, and respond to mortgage and employment references.
  6. Support the recruitment and selection process and be involved in first-stage and internal interviews.
  7. Maintain the Company's time management system by ensuring that employee data is kept up to date with holiday and sickness absence.
  8. Order all PPE for various departments and ensure all spreadsheets are updated.
  9. Liaise with Team Leaders and Departmental Leads with all accurate employee records and data.
Requirements:
  1. Proven administration experience.
  2. A manufacturing administration background would be ideal.
  3. HR and Payroll background would be advantageous.
  4. A good level of general education and 'A' level standard qualifications.
  5. Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel.
  6. High degree of self-motivation.
  7. Attention to detail and organizational ability.
  8. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with a 'team player' approach.

This is a maternity cover for 10 months.

Estimated Salary: £27,500 per annum.
