The Contract and Equality Officer will play a vital role in supporting the development and delivery of key policy and programme areas in the Equalities team at the Greater London Authority (GLA). As a member of the team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to senior staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the unit.

About the GLA

The GLA is a collaborative and motivated Unit of around sixty people, working together to address structural inequalities in London. Our teams work towards increasing civic participation, delivering statutory equalities duties, and helping Londoners access the support they need to avoid or escape financial hardship.

Job Requirements
  1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in delivering an administrative support service to senior staff in a high-profile organisation.
  2. Evidence of providing administrative and project support to major events, managing databases, administering training, and coordinating administrative processes.
  3. An excellent understanding of standard Microsoft Office packages, including advanced MS Word and Outlook, and intermediate Excel and PowerPoint.

The salary for this role is approximately £38,000 per annum, based on your experience and qualifications. We offer a range of benefits, including flexible working hours and opportunities for professional development.
