  • About the Role

This is a vital position within our team, focusing on generating new revenue streams through the sale of high-bandwidth IP transit services and complementary offerings to ISPs and internet-centric companies globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing large-scale named accounts, analyzing technical and commercial aspects, and identifying new business opportunities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed New Incremental Monthly Recurring Revenue (NIMRR) targets by consistently generating new sales.
  • Prepare and deliver technically and commercially sound commercial and technical service proposals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business executives and stakeholders in prospect and customer organizations.
  • Establish close working relationships with NTT international affiliate companies.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Customer Solutions, Order Management, Operations, and other key ecosystem team members to drive successful customer experiences.
  • Develop a quarterly business plan aligned with department objectives.
  • Monitor and report ongoing customer activity relative to plan.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time or as needed, and be flexible with working hours.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of global IP networks, service providers, Ethernet offerings, CDN, and DDoS services.
  • Understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of these providers.
  • Minimum of five years of high-tech sales experience, preferably selling to wholesale bandwidth consumers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • A track record of consistently overachieving sales quotas.
Skills and Competencies
  • Development of complex business solutions within the technology and ISP industries.
  • Familiarity with IP Transit network customers' unique technical requirements.
  • Thorough understanding of Internet technologies and economics.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver customer proposals with limited supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
