An exciting opportunity has arisen at The People Co for a Quality Assurance Professional to join their team in Derbyshire.

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.

About the Job:

This position involves working closely with colleagues to maintain quality management systems, participate in audits, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Main Duties:

  • Maintaining and managing QMS across the site.
  • Participating in internal and external audits.
  • Managing non-conformances and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensuring food quality and safety checks are completed.
  • Supporting colleagues in preparing for audits.
  • Deputising for the Technical Manager as required.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in people management and leadership.
  • A degree in Food Science or a related field (desired).
  • HACCP and Food Safety certifications are highly valued.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proven track record in Quality Assurance roles.
