About The Role:

The People Co is a reputable business based in Derbyshire, offering a unique chance for an experienced Quality Assurance Professional to take on new challenges. As an Academic Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing QMS, participating in audits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems.
  • Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance.
  • Address and resolve non-conformances, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of food quality and safety checks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure readiness for audits.
  • Support the Technical Manager in their absence.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in people management and leadership.
  • Education in Food Science or a related field.
  • HACCP and Food Safety certifications.
  • Proficiency in PC software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Track record in Quality Assurance roles.
