Quality Assurance Specialist

The People Co is looking for a highly skilled Food Safety and Compliance Manager to oversee their Quality Management System (QMS). This role requires someone who can effectively manage and maintain the QMS, ensuring all necessary checks and paperwork are completed accurately.
Main Responsibilities:- Maintain and Manage the QMS on site, guaranteeing smooth operations and adherence to regulations.
- Contribute to Internal and External Audits, pinpointing areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
- Handle Non-Conformances through thorough investigation and implementation of Preventative/Corrective Actions.
- Evaluate and Maintain Food Quality/Safety Checks and Documentation to meet regulatory demands.
- Cooperate with other staff members to guarantee readiness for audits and uphold the highest standards.
- Act as a stand-in for the Technical Manager during their absence.
Essential Requirements:
- Background in People Management, emphasizing effective leadership and communication.
- Favorable educational background: Degree in Food Science or equivalent.
- Preferred credentials include HACCP and Food Safety Certifications.
- Skilled user of computer programs pertinent to the position.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, capable of expressing complicated concepts concisely.
- Precise planning and organization skills to accomplish goals while managing time wisely.
- Solid experience in a similar Quality Assurance position, demonstrating capabilities and achievements.
Expected Compensation: £49,000 - £59,000 annually.
