The People Co is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team in Derbyshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to utilize their skills and experience in maintaining and managing a Quality Management System (QMS) on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining and Managing the QMS on site, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participating in Internal and External Audits to identify areas of improvement and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Managing Non-Conformances by investigating, documenting, and implementing Preventative/Corrective Actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensuring Food Quality/Safety Checks and Paperwork are Completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborating with Other Staff Members to ensure readiness for audits and maintain high standards.
  • Deputising for the Technical Manager in their Absence from Site.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated People Management Experience and Skills, including leadership and communication.
  • Ideal Education: Degree Level in Food Science or related field.
  • HACCP and Food Safety Qualifications are Highly Preferred.
  • Proficient in PC Literacy and ability to use software relevant to the role.
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills, with ability to articulate complex ideas simply.
  • Able to Plan and Organise Work Efficiently and Effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Proven Track Record Working in a Quality Assurance Role, with demonstrated expertise and results.

Estimated Salary: £47,000 - £57,000 per annum.
