The People Co is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Professional to join their team in Derbyshire.

Estimated salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage quality management systems across the site.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Manage non-conformances and implement preventative and corrective actions.
  • Ensure food quality and safety checks are completed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure audit readiness.
  • Deputise for the Technical Manager as needed.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated people management experience and skills.
  • Possession of a degree in Food Science (ideally).
  • HACCP and Food Safety certifications are highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in PC applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to plan and organize work efficiently.
  • Proven track record in Quality Assurance roles.
