Regional Sales Leader

Join Brown & Brown (Europe) as we continue to grow and scale our Underwriting platform. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Leader to support our distribution partners across the South East of England.

About the Role

This is a key position within our Sales and Distribution team, reporting directly to the Head of Sales and Distribution. As Regional Sales Leader, you will be responsible for managing a specific geographical panel of distribution partners, achieving budgeted income objectives, and developing strategic relationships across all allocated distribution partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a panel of distribution partners to achieve budgeted income objectives
  • Develop strategic relationships with distribution partners to drive business growth
  • Understand business objectives and strategies for accounts to align our proposition and deliver profitable growth
  • Ensure excellent understanding of Underwriting strategy and appetite among accounts and stakeholders
  • Contribute to delivering broker strategy and plans, introducing and promoting solutions where appropriate
  • Develop and implement a meeting strategy with brokers, including face-to-face and virtual engagement
  • Maintain knowledge of changing market conditions, including emerging risk, and build strategies to meet these challenges
  • Build a pipeline of opportunities to drive long-term growth potential
  • Support the management, compliance, and governance teams as needed
Requirements
  • Comprehensive understanding of general insurance
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Analytical capability and ability to form recommendations based on data and dialogue
  • Commercially savvy, able to evaluate financial viability and negotiate effectively
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and concisely
