Senior Social Workers play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and safety of foster placements for children and young people in Staffordshire. As a Senior Social Worker - Fostering and Quality, you will be responsible for leading the Fostering North Team, providing support and supervision to foster carers predominantly residing in the North of Staffordshire.

Your expertise will be essential in fostering assessments, such as changes of approval, Special Guardianship Orders, long-term fostering assessments, and foster carer annual reviews. You will work closely with children's teams and other professionals to achieve good outcomes for our children and young people in care.

With a strong commitment to safeguarding children and promoting capacity to provide sufficient placements to meet their needs, you will ensure the stability of placements and promote the welfare of our children and young people.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also need to hold a current UK driving licence and vehicle.
