**Job Summary**

We are seeking a child protection professional to join our Fostering North Team. As a safeguarding social worker, you will provide support and supervision to foster carers, ensuring the well-being and safety of children and young people in our care.

**About the Position**

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified social worker to develop their skills and knowledge in fostering and child protection. You will work closely with experienced staff, maintaining excellent working relationships with children's teams and other professionals.

**Responsibilities**

  • Undertake regular supervision, support, and unannounced visits to foster carers
  • Conduct fostering assessments and annual reviews
  • Work closely with children's teams and other professionals to ensure good outcomes for children and young people

**Qualifications and Experience**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification in social work and registration with Social Work England
  • A minimum of 2 years' post-qualifying experience in fostering or child protection
  • A current UK driving license and vehicle
