We are recruiting a Qualified Social Worker to join our Fostering Central Panel and Approval team in Staffordshire County Council.

This fixed-term contract is for 12 months, starting on February 1st, 2025. The estimated annual salary for this position is £40,000.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Hold a full caseload of Form F assessments and meet the required deadlines.
  2. Offer essential training and support to foster carer applicants during the assessment process.
  3. Support applicants by preparing and accompanying them to Fostering Panel meetings.
  4. Deliver initial supervision and support to approved carers.
Requirements
  • Registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
  • Familiarity with Fostering Minimum Standards and Regulations.
  • CURRENT UK driving license and vehicle.
  • A passion for working with children and families, ensuring their well-being and safety.
