Apprentice Building/Quantity Surveyor
About Us:We are Carbon 60, a leading provider of design, development, master planning, and project management services for schools and academies.
Our expertise ranges from updating existing facilities to new development schemes and complete rebuilds.
Estimated Salary:£25,000 - £35,000 per annum based on experience.
Job Description:- Risk Analysis:
Assess and mitigate risks associated with construction projects to ensure timely completion and within budget.
Contract Administration:Manage and administer contracts with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Project and Programme Management:Coordinate and oversee the execution of projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and timeliness.
Employer's Agent:Act as an intermediary between the client and contractor, facilitating communication and resolving issues efficiently.
Stakeholder Engagement:Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective collaboration and project success.
Financial and Numeracy Management:Oversee financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
ICT Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint to support project documentation, reporting, and presentations.
