About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled leader to join our team as the Head of Service for the Acute and Community Directorate. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for the performance and operation of the directorate, working closely with other senior leaders to ensure alignment of priorities and the delivery of high-quality care.

The successful candidate will have significant experience of managing multiple services within a mental health service, with a proven track record of leading multi-professional teams and managing change. You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to express complex issues effectively verbally and in writing.

As a member of the directorate leadership team, you will be supported in your role and have access to a range of training and education opportunities. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our services and make a positive impact on the lives of our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the performance and operation of the Acute and Community Directorate
  • Work closely with other senior leaders to ensure alignment of priorities and the delivery of high-quality care
  • Manage multiple services within a mental health service
  • Lead multi-professional teams and manage change
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including service users, carers, and staff
