We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified individual to join our senior leadership team as Assistant Director of Children and Families. The successful candidate will have substantial experience of managing children's social care and working in partnership with multi-agency services at Assistant Director or Head of Service level.

The ideal candidate will be a registered social worker with a deep knowledge and understanding of all safeguarding issues and legislation. They will lead by example, developing integrated services with partners, based on the voice and experience of children.

The role requires an excellent, supportive leader who looks after staff wellbeing and development, successfully engaging and motivating employees through change and improvement. The successful candidate will also be experienced in effectively managing resources, whilst ensuring that the children and young people at risk, get the help and support they need.
