Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Lidl Head Office. As a key member of our procurement services, you will be responsible for tendering and appointing suppliers for various procurement topics. Your role will involve engaging with different departments, onboarding new procurement categories, and demonstrating innovative thinking to drive strategic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences
  2. Develop and implement effective tendering strategies to secure the best possible deals
  3. Conduct market research and analysis to inform procurement decisions
  4. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers
  5. Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with company policies
  6. Budget tracking and control

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in a procurement role with a proven track record of success
  • CIPS Level 4 qualified or equivalent
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Effective negotiator and confident presenter
  • Ability to prioritize projects and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
