Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Improvement Advisor to join our team at Healthcare Improvement Scotland.

The successful candidate will support the implementation of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Standards and improve pathways into, through and out of Residential Rehabilitation in Scotland.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to assist in scoping, designing and delivering relevant programmes within our Community Engagement and Transformational Change Directorate.

Working as part of our Transformational Change in Drugs, Alcohol & Housing Portfolio, you will work closely with stakeholders to drive improvements in how people who use alcohol and/or drugs are supported in Scotland.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a degree level education and either a master's degree in a relevant subject or equivalent knowledge and experience in improving services in health and social care.

You should be educated, enthusiastic, and positive with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. As part of our hybrid team, you will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues, partners and stakeholders to achieve our goals.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £50,000-£58,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including flexible working hours, professional development opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
