Supervising Social Work Practitioner

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated social worker to join our experienced Fostering Team at Caritas Care.

About the Position:

This opportunity has arisen due to the retirement of one of our long-standing team members. As a member of our Fostering Team, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting a small caseload of fostering families and children in the Lancashire and wider North West area.

Your main duties will include recruiting, training, and assessing prospective foster carers, as well as providing ongoing supervision and support to foster carers and children to achieve the best possible outcomes.

  • Annual Salary: £33,587 - £37,996 per annum (pro rata for part-time) or £43,325 for a full-time equivalent
