Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Thornbury. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with complex needs, aged between, in a residential setting.


As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the individuals you support. You will work closely with the team to develop and implement personalized care plans, promoting independence and well-being.


The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults with complex needs, a passion for supporting people to live their lives, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. You will be required to travel between sites during shift, so a driver's license is essential.


We offer a comprehensive training package, including scheduled ongoing face-to-face training and CPD planning. You will also have access to a great benefits package, including 33 days annual leave, company pension scheme, and free gym membership.


Responsibilities:

  • Supporting individuals with complex needs to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Providing personal care and support to individuals as required
  • Encouraging individuals to take responsibility for their own lives, depending on their age
  • Maintaining a safe environment for the service users
  • Ensuring the safety of the students and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the individual's care plan, guidelines, reward system, and preferred method of communication


Requirements:

  • Experience working as an adult support worker in a similar setting
  • NVQ or QCF level 3 in Adult Social Care (desirable)
  • A passion for supporting people living their lives
  • A driver's license
