Job Title: Support Worker - Young People

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Thornbury, supporting young people with cerebral palsy and complex needs.

About the Role:

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our service users to develop their independence and reach their full potential. You will work in a residential setting, providing personal care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support service users with daily living tasks, such as personal care and meal preparation
  • Encourage and enable service users to participate in activities and develop their independence
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure the safety and well-being of service users
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to service users
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a care or support role, preferably in a residential setting
  • Qualifications in adult care or a related field (desirable)
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license (essential)
