Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in the Thornbury area. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with cerebral palsy and complex needs to develop their independence and reach their full potential.

About the Role
  • Provide personal care and support to young people in a residential setting
  • Encourage and enable young people to take responsibility for their own lives and develop new skills
  • Deal with challenging behaviors in a safe and sympathetic manner
  • Support young people to maintain their safety and well-being
Requirements
  • Experience working as an adult support worker in a similar setting is desirable
  • NVQ or QCF level 3 in Adult Social Care is an advantage
  • A passion for supporting people with complex needs and a commitment to delivering high-quality care
  • Must be a driver and over the age of 18
