Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in the Thornbury area. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with cerebral palsy and complex needs to develop their independence and reach their full potential.

About the Role
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex needs
  • Encourage and enable individuals to take responsibility for their own lives
  • Deal with challenging behaviors in a safe and sympathetic manner
  • Support individuals to develop new skills and interests
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure high-quality care and support
Requirements
  • Experience working as a Support Worker in a similar setting
  • NVQ or QCF level 3 in Adult Social Care (desirable)
  • A passion for supporting people with complex needs
  • Must be a driver and have a valid license
  • Must be over the age of 18
