Brook Street Social Care is recruiting for agency Support Workers for their supported living service. The complex features five individual homes that support clients with learning disabilities, Autism, and Down syndrome.
This lovely service is based on a complex where all homes are within walking distance. They have a farm onsite where they look after animals, grow vegetables, and create veg boxes for the local community. There is a common room and an arts and crafts room (woodwork, painting, weaving) where clients make presents for family and friends, or even for their own Christmas market. It truly is a fantastic service with a great sense of community.
- Supporting clients with everyday tasks, such as baking cakes and preparing nutritious food.
- Providing daily support and joining in with activities.
- Working primarily one-on-one but collaborating with the team to share domestic duties.
- Assisting with personal care as required.
Shifts available are:
- Weekdays: 17:30 - 22:00
- Weekends: 07:00/07:30 - 17:30/22:00 or 17:30 - 22:00
