Practice Plus Group Ophthalmology is seeking a motivated and organized Adult Care Worker to join our team in Bamber Bridge. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide essential support to our nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients in a safe and caring environment.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or advance their career in healthcare. You will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to ensure the smooth delivery of patient care. This may include welcoming visitors, dealing with enquiries, recording clinical observations, and assisting with data entry and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome visitors to the service and ensure they are directed to the appropriate person.
  • Deal with enquiries in a helpful and courteous manner, maintaining confidentiality when required.
  • Accurately record routine clinical observations and carry out relevant clinical skills.
  • Assist the clinical team with data entry, filing, and maintenance of accurate documentation of care.
  • Ensure treatment rooms/areas are adequately stocked, tidy, and fit for purpose.
  • Adhere to infection control procedures and participate fully as a team member.
  • Accurately record up-to-date information on records and participate in stock control and ordering of consumables.
