Ecommerce & Merchandising Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Ecommerce & Merchandising Supervisor to join our team at HERMES. As an integral part of our retail operations, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse competitors' trends and price positioning to inform buying decisions.
- Monitor sales performance through quantitative analyses and qualitative feedbacks to optimise stock levels and product offerings.
- Develop action plans in collaboration with Retail, Training, Customer Service, Metiers, and Europe Region to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct regular store visits and provide guidance on visual merchandising and product displays.
OTB and Buying Management
- Collaborate with the Retail Merchandising Director to define OTB for stores aligned with the subsidiary's strategy and Europe's objectives.
- Monitor and control reorders to ensure optimal stock levels and budget compliance.
- Propose a buying strategy that balances novelties and bestsellers, considering store identities and customer needs.
- Place orders for the Ecommerce local platform, taking into account store offerings and omnichannel approaches.
Product Animation
- Work closely with the Demand and Supply Planner to launch new products across all stores, ensuring successful launches and effective communication.
- Optimise product visibility and display with the Visual Merchandiser/E-VM to enhance customer engagement.
- Contribute to the 360-degree animation plan with Retail, Training, Ecommerce, and Communications teams to drive sales growth and increase brand awareness.
Métiers & Europe Community Partnership
- Engage actively with the community of Merchandising Managers in Europe, sharing best practices and adapting strategies to local contexts.
- Collaborate with Métiers to implement their strategy locally, achieving growth ambitions and enhancing customer experiences.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in retail merchandise/planning within a retail environment.
- Highly analytical, with exceptional organisational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Commercial awareness, passion for luxury products, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Influential, structured, and pedagogic approach, with great interpersonal skills.
