Lyle & Scott is a premium British brand that values its employees' creativity and passion for delivering strong performances. We are currently looking for a Global Ecommerce Merchandising Manager to join our in-house e-commerce team.

Job Description

  • This role involves managing the onsite trading of our Global site, taking responsibility for sales and margin performance, and shared responsibility for AOV, UPT, and onsite conversion.
  • You will work closely with merchandising to create seasonal range plans, launch products, and ensure accompanying information is present, relevant, and up to date.
  • Responsibilities include creating product files, mapping products correctly, and working with the Senior Head of eCommerce to set targets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Apart from this, you will devise trading strategies, propose solutions to improve customer experience, and increase profit/margin.
  • Your daily tasks will include monitoring sales/margin, creating relevant reports, and proposing solutions to optimize trade.
  • You will also own and execute the e-commerce trading calendar, aligning it with the brand, customer experience, and merchandising teams.
  • Additionally, you will make sure all onsite content plans are aligned with the e-commerce marketing calendar and ensure customer pages strike a balance between supporting new stories and being commercial.
  • Last but not least, you will submit and lead promotional plans, ensuring promotions and incentives are delivered in line with wider business objectives.

Salary and Benefits

Our estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per year, depending on experience. You can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including holiday purchase scheme, enhanced parental leave, cash plan, flexible working, and more.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Strong experience in retail, fashion/lifestyle sectors with at least 4 years of experience in a similar e-commerce, trading or merchandising role.
  • Expert knowledge of product performance, sell through, and merchandising practices.
  • Familiarity with Shopify+ and ability to upload products, export data, and build automated reports.
  • Excellent Excel skills, with the ability to perform various functions and lookups.
  • Ability to manage and brief multiple stakeholders and agency partners.
  • Adaptability considering changing commercial forces.
