Job Title:

Young People's Advocate

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Young People's Advocate to join our team at iPeople Solutions. The successful candidate will work with young people aged 11-19 (25 with SEND) in a universal open access youth setting, providing support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group support to young people through assessing their needs, developing and monitoring individual learning plans, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Work in partnership with other agencies to deliver interventions, providing feedback where required.
  • Deliver physical and adventurous activities, e.g., sports, arts, and drama.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A minimum of a Level 1/2 NVQ JNC recognized Youth Support Worker qualification or something similar (Sports, Teaching, Youth Justice).
  • Applications from candidates currently undertaking a formal qualification to work with young people are welcome.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working with young people.
  • An enhanced DBS check.
  • The ability to be flexible and travel within the borough is essential.
Salary:

£28,000 - £32,000 per annum.
