Children and Young People Health Advocate

We are seeking a dedicated Children and Young People Health Advocate to join our team. As an advocate for health and wellbeing, you will play a vital role in promoting optimal health outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Health Promotion: Contribute to the identification and protection of children at risk of abuse and act in accordance with local and national policy and guidance.
- Health Assessments: Complete health assessments with children and their parents as delegated to the postholder when requested to do so and liaise with the registered case holder about the outcome.
- Interventions: Plan, deliver, and evaluate health promotion activities, including Relationship, Sex and Health Education (RSHE), parent advice clinic, pupil drop-ins, group work, whole school approaches, health assessments, and one-to-one interventions.
- School Health Drop-in: Provide a school health drop-in, offering confidential advice, support, signposting, and follow-up where necessary.

What We Offer- Competitive Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
