Your Role

As a Young People's Advocate, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the rights and interests of our young residents. Your primary responsibility will be to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to design and deliver personalized care plans that focus on promoting independence, improving communication skills, and enhancing overall well-being.

You will be responsible for assessing the needs of our residents and developing strategies to address any challenges they may face. This may involve working closely with other agencies, such as healthcare providers, education services, and social services, to ensure our young people receive comprehensive support.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • A Level 3 Diploma or relevant qualification in a related field (training provided for the right candidate)">
  • Previous experience working with learning disabilities and/or challenging behavior (desirable)">
  • Able to pass a criminal background check">
  • Ongoing training and support to ensure you feel confident and competent in your role">
  • Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team">
