Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sous Chef to join our prestigious hotel team. As a key member of the culinary operations, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional quality and presentation of all outlet food products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement menus that meet company standards and cater to diverse guest preferences.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive overall success and guest satisfaction.
  3. Buy locally sourced fresh products and maintain limited menus to offer variety to guests.
  4. Participate in menu planning and utilisation of food surpluses and leftovers.
  5. Analyse recipes and assign prices to menu items while controlling costs.
  6. Direct food apportionment policy to control expenses.
  7. Serve fresh food consistently in quality and reflect the company's image.
  8. Supervise cooking colleagues and coordinate assignments for efficient food production.
  9. Test cooked foods before plate-up and service.
  10. Estimate food consumption and purchase or requisition necessary supplies.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent culinary skills, strong leadership abilities, and effective communication skills. You must also be able to work a flexible schedule and late hours when necessary.
