Parker Smith Inclusion Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team at a SEND school in Enfield. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting young people with complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and speech and language needs.

The role involves working closely with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized learning plans, which cater to the unique needs of each student. The class timetable includes a range of subjects, from English and Maths to ICT, PE, and creative lessons.

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring open and honest communication.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting respect and empathy among all members of the school community.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to deliver high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of each student.

The salary for this position is approximately £116-£125 per day, paid through PAYE. We offer a competitive package, including a generous salary, opportunities for professional development, and a supportive work environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience as HLTA or strong experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant looking for the next step.
  • Experience working with young people with SEND.
  • A strong understanding of Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and speech and language needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
