Lead the Way in Composites Manufacturing

We are looking for a talented Composites Manufacturing Leader to join our team at the National Composites Centre. With a proven track record in composites manufacturing, you will lead the development of new technologies and drive innovation within our £16m+ Aerostructures portfolio.

As a manufacturing leader, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to scope multi-disciplinary development tasks, apply novel technology solutions, and ensure high levels of technical excellence. You will also govern cross-capability R&D projects and contribute to local sector strategies.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in composites manufacturing, process development, tool definition, test demonstrators, technology application, DFM, and use of manufacturing engineering toolkits. Experience in production/NPI knowledge of composite structures, process automation, and large/full-scale development projects is essential.

We offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including hybrid working, annual salary reviews, company-paid private medical insurance, and up to 12.5% employer pension contribution.
