Job Description:

Derbyshire County Council is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to lead our residential children's homes. As a Children's Residential Home Manager, you will be responsible for managing operational activities within the home, including staff, budgets, and resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise a team of staff to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people
  • Develop and implement effective policies and procedures to ensure the well-being and safety of residents
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and make improvements as necessary
Requirements:
  • A good understanding of child development and psychology
  • Experience of working with vulnerable children and young people
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
