Job Title: Lead Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Nurse to join our team at Spectrum Community Health CIC. As a Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for the daily management, coordination, and delivery of evidence-based care in a secure setting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide strong clinical leadership to the nursing team and take responsibility for the daily management of care delivery.
  • Assess, provide advice, and administer evidence-based care as appropriate to patients within Health & Justice.
  • Lead physical health services as part of a multi-disciplinary team to plan, provide, and evaluate a range of health interventions to meet prisoner healthcare needs.
  • Contribute to the wider continuous development of integrated prison healthcare services.
Requirements:
  • Registered General Nurse Level 1.
  • Evidence of ongoing CPD and delivery of evidence-based care.
  • Independent Nurse/Supplementary/Non-Medical Prescriber qualification or willingness to undertake.
  • Appropriate management qualification or equivalent experience.
  • RCGP Cert 1/2 Primary Care/LTC qualification.
