Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse Lead to join our team at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Nurse Lead, you will play a key role in developing and implementing high-quality patient care plans, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based care plans, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
  • Act as a deputy in the absence of the Ward Manager, facilitating and coordinating clinical practice.
  • Lead on the implementation of performance indicators, essential standards, and quality development initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver training packages to enhance the knowledge and skills of the workforce.
  • Facilitate staff appraisals and clinical supervision, supporting personal development and career progression.

Person Specification
  • Professional Nursing qualification (RNLD)
  • ENB 998 / P126/127 or equivalent
  • Student Assessor /Mentor
  • Post-registration clinical experience
  • 12-24 month band 5 qualified nurse experience (dependent on service need)
  • Continued professional development
