Volunteer Administration Assistant - Part Time

We are seeking a part-time volunteer administration assistant to join our team at the British Heart Foundation furniture store in Brislington. As a volunteer administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our front-of-house team by handling phone calls, responding to online booking requests, and performing reception duties.

Your primary responsibilities will include dealing with face-to-face and phone enquiries, helping around the cashier desk, and completing administration procedures accurately. You will also be required to arrange collections of donations via our local van team. If you're comfortable using technology and have basic computer skills, this could be the ideal role for you.

As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including a 25% discount on donated goods, unlimited access to free and confidential support by Retail Trust, and reasonable travel expenses reimbursed if you volunteer for more than 3 hours per shift. The estimated salary for this role is £12.20 per hour based on 25 hours a week, which is equivalent to approximately £30,784 per annum. This calculation is based on national living wage rates and assumes a standard 52-week working year. Of course, your actual take-home pay may vary depending on your individual circumstances. Your qualifications and experience should include excellent communication skills, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
