We are seeking an Education Mentor for Young People to join our team at Long Term Futures Ltd. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic school environment providing tailored support for Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students facing behavioural and emotional difficulties. A strong focus on sport and physical education makes this opportunity highly desirable for candidates with a sporting background or experience in youth mentoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting students' academic, social, and emotional progression in a safe, nurturing environment.
  • Managing and responding to challenging or disruptive behaviour effectively.
  • Building positive relationships with students, staff, and families to promote engagement.
Candidate Requirements
  • Prior experience working with special educational needs (SEN) or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
  • A passion for supporting young people within education.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training and knowledge of current child protection policies.
