National Account Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Account Executive to join our team at The Advocate Group. As a leading recruitment partner to the FMCG and consumer product sectors, we are excited to partner with a leading wine business to find the right candidate for this role.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the existing sales team to achieve key business objectives, developing key business relationships with stakeholders across designated accounts, and conducting sales/financial analysis to implement changes and improve performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive business growth and achieve sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across designated accounts
- Conduct thorough sales and financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
- Act as a brand advocate and promote the business at all opportunities, including wine tastings, events, and roadshows
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure relevant promotional initiatives are communicated to clients
Requirements
- Proven experience in FMCG account management, ideally in the drinks industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- Highly numerate and confident with Excel and data analysis
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive business growth and achieve sales targets
- Demonstrate resilience and ability to work independently in a remote environment
