At Randstad Student Support, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to fill the role of Undergraduate Learning Support Specialist. As a Specialist Mentor in Bangor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of university students with disabilities or mental health issues.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and external partners. A strong understanding of mental health concerns and their impact on learning is essential for this role.

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around £25,000-£30,000, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide one-to-one support and guidance to undergraduate students who struggle with learning due to mental health concerns
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and deliver support programs that meet the diverse needs of students
  • To maintain accurate records and reporting, ensuring effective data management and evaluation

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, psychology, social work)
  • Experience working with students with mental health concerns or disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
