Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Gynaecological Oncology to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The successful candidate will have a strong background in gynaecological oncology and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cancer services.

Main Duties

The Consultant will be based in Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, and will be responsible for providing on-call services for gynaecological cancer patients. The post will involve a commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, as well as contributing to the development of our cancer services.

Person Specification

  • Full GMC registration with inclusion on the Specialist Register of GMC or eligible for award of CCT in Gynaecology Oncology within 6 months of interview
  • MRCOG or equivalent
  • Appropriate levels of skills and abilities expected from a properly trained consultant in gynaecological oncology
  • Good working knowledge and experience of up-to-date gynaecological oncology
