We are currently seeking Care and Support Specialists to join our team in Bangor, North Wales.

The successful candidates will be responsible for providing vigilant and compassionate care and supervision to individuals in various care settings, ensuring their safety and well-being.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have experience supporting individuals with mental health challenges, dementia/elderly care, learning difficulties, complex care needs, or children's residential care.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing safe and supportive care to individuals with varying needs and abilities.
  • Ensuring the safety and security of all individuals through regular checks and proactive risk management.
  • Offering emotional support and practical guidance to individuals experiencing distress or difficulties.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Working closely with a multidisciplinary team including social workers, healthcare professionals, therapists, and educators.
  • Engaging in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in caring for complex needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting individuals with mental health challenges, dementia/elderly care, learning difficulties, complex care needs, or children's residential care.
  • A valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle.
  • Registration with Social Care Wales.
  • An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

  • Competitive salary: £13.50 - £16 per hour day rate and £14.50 - £18 per hour night rate.
