Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our multidisciplinary team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the nursing team in a safe and caring environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to deliver patient care and support the training of student nurses and volunteers.
  • Develop knowledge and skills within the specialty and assist in the management and delivery of compassionate, high-quality patient care.
  • Adhere to the Trust Values and Behaviours and the Trust Code of Conduct, demonstrating a commitment to dignity, privacy, and respect for patients.
  • Participate in the development of the postholder from a band 2 to band 3, including completion of qualifications.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Numeracy and Literacy Level 2
  • Care certificate
  • Level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience in a range of clinical care duties.
