About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Support Worker to join our surgical physiotherapy team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists with the assessment and rehabilitation of patients on the surgical wards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the guidance of senior physiotherapists to support physiotherapy input
  • Assist with patient assessments and rehabilitation plans
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training
Requirements
  • Experience of working in health or social care
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
  • Basic IT skills to use electronic patient records and other Trust systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Committed to providing high-quality patient care
